One more sleep to go and then it's hello Mozambique!!!!!!!!!
It's not quite hit me yet but i'm sure once i reach the airport it will be a totally different story. Most things are packed now just a few more last minute items.
So just to fill you in, I'm going to Pemba which is in Mozambique for three weeks and i'll be working for a christian organisation called Iris ministries. As i am going solo there is plenty of opportunity for me to get involved where i like. There is a primary school on the base so i'm sure that entertaining hundreds of African children is on the agenda. Not that i'm complaining. In fact i love it. I have an excuse to be silly all day long. hee hee. There are also opportunities for me to help out with the feeding programme, being responsible for a children's dorm, visiting hospitals amongst many other things.
So i have set up this blog so that hopefully when i'm away i can give you updates on how everything is going.
Please check regularly. Being able to post stuff on the blog is slightly determined by access to internet but i believe that there are internet cafes near by.
